Advanced Songs

Advanced Songs

An advanced song is one which is vocally demanding to sing in terms of:

  • it extends the range of the singer with the inclusion of unusually higher and/or lower notes
  • the distances between notes are larger, awkward and possibly more frequent
  • it may demand a quality/style of singing which is technically difficult to sing such as belting quality
