Lessons have started back for the year.
After our Summer break, lessons are now back in full swing. This includes private lessons, group lessons and introductory lessons.

Royal Adelaide Show Draw * WINNERS *
It was great to see so many people enter our draw to win FREE SINGING LESSONS at this year's Royal Adelaide Show.
We had over 900 entries to win 15 vouchers of private and group lessons.

LHSS has booth at Adelaide Royal Show
Locals will know we are currently enjoying nine days of Showbags, Rides, Animals, events and of course the demonstration of various businesses such as ours.
Our Studio has a booth in the Jubilee Pavilion. We are selling heavily discounted lessons and encouraging people to enter the draw for free private and group singing lessons.
This is our second year we have had a booth and it is proving to be extremely successful. Once again, many people who have always wanted to do singing are giving it a go. In particular, this year, now that we offer an Adult Singing Course, I've noticed an increase of ladies from 40 plus years taking on singing in the comfort of a group. We have seem an increase at this year's Royal Show in the men in their 30 - 40's who are enquiring about doing lessons. This being a first in the history of our Studio. This age group of males realise it is acceptable to do lessons as a hobby. At this year's Royal Show, I've noticed many parents with kids especially around the age of 6 - 11 years extremely interested in lessons.
This shift of demographic is very different to the early years of the Studio. Back then, the majority of students were females from 16 - 25 yrs. It is great to see people of all ages enjoy singing. I contribute this in large part to the reality pop shows such as Australian Idol. These shows have given people the confidence it is acceptable to take lessons.

Royal Adelaide Show
Doing the Adelaide Royal Show is an exciting and fun time. Many students have visited the booth to say hello to us.
Teachers Cate Dyer and Tania Savelli have been handing out LHSS flyers, and Show Specials (heavily discounted signing lessons). Many people are fascinated with the Software programme we are demonstrating called Sing&See, and singing into the mic to try it out.
