Are you a beginner and haven't done anything like this before? No problem, weare great with beginners. We will teach you the singing techniques you need to learn to sing well.

You're not expected to know how to sing until you've been taught, and we will take you at your pace.

No need to be nervous, our friendly teachers will make you feel comfortable.

We take private students from the age of 6 years to 86 years. You are never too old to learn to sing!

Lessons are designed so that you learn plenty and have a lot of fun in the process.

We understand that you may be nervous and will quickly help you relax, especially if you are a beginner.

You will also be surprised and encouraged with the improvement you'll hear as you learn the techniques needed to sing well.

• We start lessons by teaching you the techniques you need to sing correctly and sound better.
• You'll then sing some exercises to practice singing these techniques.
• Then you'll sing songs, to have fun and try out the techniques to get used to them.

You don't need to know any songs off by heart. We sing to the recordings for the tune, or melody line. We also have the lyrics on a screen in front of you so you can follow the words.

When you are ready to move to the next step, you can practice singing to backing tracks (songs without vocals).Browse the backing tracks available in our Music Catalogue.

You can choose songs from our online music catalogue. If you're not sure where to start, try browsing through the Beginners Songs first.

If you want to do a song we don't have - simply bring the CD or sheet music with you.

Tip: Record your lesson
You are welcome to record each lesson on CD using our Live-to-CD recorders (optional). We give you a CD of the whole lesson at the end of each lesson for something to practice to. You can bring your own blank CD-R or purchase them from the Studio for $2.50.

Vocal technique such as breathing, breath support, posture, identifying registers to sing higher and lower than you are already.

You can also cover:

Singing different styles of music, performing skills, microphone technique, understanding music

The Studio is open 6 days a week.

Lessons are held every day and evening to 9.00pm Monday - Friday, and all day Saturdays.

Most people do a ½ hr lesson once a week on a day and time which suits them.

Each of our Studios is fully equipped with:

• live CD recorder - you can record your lesson live-to-CD so you can practice
• computers - songs are played through the computer and you follow the words with lyrics on a second computer screen.
  Songs can be transposed (changed to a more suitable pitch for your voice) as they play.
• Music Catalogue on the computer in your studio with thousands of songs for you to pick from - something for every age group.Browse online and choose songs to sing in your lesson.
• CD players to play any CDs you may want to bring along.
  Our CD players can automatically transpose the songs, to a pitch set by the teacher, as the CD plays
• keyboards - teachers play the exercises and songs
• full height rehearsal mirrors-to ensure that your breathing and posture are correct
• microphones - for the advanced and confident singer to get practice
• teaching aides such as wallcharts
• air cleaners-for a hayfever and germ free lesson

Arriving at the Studio
Arrive 15 minutes before your first lesson.

We will show you around the Studio so you can get your bearings and feel comfortable. Most students are nervous and uncertain to start with.

If you are have never been before, you will be required to fill out the enrolment form and pay any outstanding fees before your lesson begins.

If weekly lessons are impractical because you live in the country, interstate or overseas for example, we can usually work out an arrangement which will suit you and your circumstances.

One solution which has assisted several of our country students is to do multiple blocks of lesson for the time you are in Adelaide. The number of lessons and their content would naturally depend on your availability whilst in Adelaide. We simply ask that lessons are paid in advance at the time you book. We suggest you give us as much notice as possible to help us accommodate you and avoid disappointment.

Sometimes people want to come along with a friend, partner, or family member.

We do offer lessons with 2-on-one (2 students per teacher) and 3-on-one (3 students per teacher).

It is more cost effective per person this way, but each individual's learning process can be slower.

The fee for 2 people per lesson is $250.00 each (inc GST) for 10 week block of lessons, ½ hour lesson/week.

The fee for 3 people per lesson is $200.00 each (inc GST) for 10 week block of lessons, ½ hour lesson/week.

A non-refundable deposit each is required before the commencement of a 10 week block of lessons to guarantee the lesson time. This deposit is deducted from the term fee which is paid on the first lesson.
