Kenneth Phillips PhD US based educator and author who is a worldwide authority on children's voices. Irene Barlett (lecturer in Jazz/Contemporary Voice at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University): A leading specialist trainer for singers of contemporary commercial music. Irene has had a long career as a professional contemporary performer and is in demand as lead vocalist with her concert band MoodSwing, and corporate bands Frontline and The Cloudland Dance Band. She is currently investigating issues of vocal health and performance affecting the viability of contemporary commercial singers as a PhD research project. Jo Estill California-based lecturer, singing teacher and educator. Developed the unique Estill Voice Training System which teaches the practical application of acoustics and physiology to the training of voice. Achievements extensive solo career Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) accreditation in piano, theory and singing. numerous amateur musical theatre productions including - Showboat, The Girlfriend, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Cinderella sung in many choirs including Pembroke Girls Choir, Monteverdi Choir, University of Adelaide Chamber Singers, University of Adelaide Jazz Choir toured both nationwide and in Japan. winner of numerous awards at singing Eisteddfods in Victoria, Australia dancing qualifications in Ballroom and Latin American, Cecchetti and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) in modern, jazz, tap and national winner of NEIS Eastern Enterprise Develpment Agency's Best Business Award judge for numerous singing competitions including AMP's Fellini's Search for a Singer, Search for a Star and SA Pop Competition speaker on running a music studio at the 2006 SA Music Teachers Association Professional Development Day speaker at the ANATS National Conference in Canberra in October 2006 on the "Business side of running a singing Studio" (in conjunction with Queensland performer and singing teacher Daniel Kay)
